As the hardcore graffiti fans that we are, today we feature some amazing images by Brazil's golden boy, photographer Gabriel Mendes
Adding innovative flair to the world of creative urban street art, Urban Puns is more than meets the eye – just like us.
At Gumball, we challenge tradition and take a non-conventional approach to exploring and developing cultural and creative boundaries.
In this sense, Mendes juxtaposes incredible graffiti murals with random people in the street, from garbage collectors to football fans (including some very nice Brazilian ladies…).
The ongoing project features graffiti from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, New York and Los Angeles.
Gabriel Mendes was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York and currently lives and works between New York and Rio de Janeiro.
